Your Personal Life Design - Take Charge of Your Life!

God wants us to live a life that puts Him at the epicenter, that subordinates our will to His and that makes a priority of growth toward holiness. More basically, He created us for relationship with Him and, through the power of that relationship, to be salt and light in the world. He did not create us to live a dualistic life, one that relegates one’s spiritual life only on Sunday, while we live independent of God elsewhere every other day of the week. Rather, faith and life are to be seamless.

Faith is in general the persuasion of the mind that a certain statement is true (Phil 1:27; 2 Thess 2:13). Its primary idea is trust. A thing is true, and therefore worthy of trust. Faith is the result of teaching (Rom 10:17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.

NIV). Knowledge is an essential element in all faith,

So, again, faith and life are to be seamless. The scripture speaks generously to this issue, both in the Old and New Testament, encouraging the believer to “commit to the Lord whatever you do” (Proverbs 16:3), to “do everything to the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31), and to let your “light shine before men that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16; cf. also Colossians 3:23-24, 1 John 2:6, Psalms 37:5).

In Galatians 5, Paul gets even more specific, giving Christians nine distinct measures of the extent to which God is revealed in their daily lives. Widely cited and collectively called the “fruit of the Spirit,” the nine measures are: “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control” (Galatians 5:22-23). These dispositions and behaviors are indicators of Christian maturity, a reflection of God working in and through the believer . Jesus Himself taught: “No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain on the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me” (John 15:4). Clearly, then, it is God’s will for us to remain in Him and to become like Him – to become “fruit of the Spirit” Christians. And that process of maturing will touch every aspect of your life, including your career success.

Things can be different for you starting today!

Your life is a series of choices. And if you choose to do so, you can do great things with your life. Things that matter. Things that greatly affect the lives of others. Even things that will influence people long after you even die. You may not even be aware of the potential that you have. But it’s there. So if you have not already done so, consider deciding today – at this very moment – that you will begin to achieve your potential in life.

It’s simple. Just make that choice. Verbalize it. Believe it. No one can stop you but yourself.

The tools that I will give you will be a springboard to you taking charge of your life; by designing your life and developing it so that you have great success. If you follow the steps you will begin to reach important life goals and to live the abundant life that honors God. More specifically, The Personal Development Quickstart Plan is a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process of identifying, pursuing and achieving things in your life that have been ordained by God that so that you can truly live an abundant life.

A process that entails 1) seeking God’s will for your life, 2) setting life goals consistent with that will, 3) developing a strategic plan to pursue those life goals, and 4) habitually tracking your progress toward your goals.

God cares about you very much – your spiritual, personal and even your career development. So, HE wants you to know that you are more likely to achieve your potential in life if you have a plan to get there .

Much of this is straightforward and even fun to do, but we seldom make the time to formally do it in our frenetic, over-extended lives. Instead, many people take a cavalier approach to pursuing their goals, an approach that often leads to spotty results, dead ends, wasted time and effort, and often, later regrets over what might have been.

It will empower you and keep you on track. It can help you to do even greater things with this microsecond that we call life. In the end, it will likely contribute to a life well-lived and a distinctive, admirable legacy. In order to begin to take charge of your life and to create your personal development quickstart plan you’ll need to invest several hours up front. Indeed, if you experience the power of this approach and truly take it to heart, you’ll further invest a lifetime refining, updating, and implementing your plan. The dividends, though, will be enormous and they will be eternal

Single Mom Chronicles Scriptures:

Phil 1:27 Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel 28 without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. NIV

1 John 2:3-6 ..3 We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. 4 The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: 6 Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did. NIV
