Quitting as a Single Mom is NOT AN OPTION!
Websters defines quit as
1: to cease normal, expected, or necessary action <the engine quit>
: to stop doing (an action or activity)
....this is definitely a word that cannot be in the vocabulary of any mom, let alone a Single Mom. Why? Because a real mother cannot cease the expected or necessary action, or stop doing what's required when it comes to raising a child!
The mother is the one who nurtures, who guides, trains and disciplines. If the mother doesn't do this, then who? When you have a child that you are raising, while it might be difficult, you must fully engage in action required in bringing that child up to fulfill their destiny....so quitting is NOT AN OPTION!
Children take their ques from the parent... if you are depressed; most likely they will be depressed. If they see a parent do something wrong - chances are they will think it's okay to do things that are wrong. Quitting is the same way - if they see you quit - most likely they will too.
So, no, you can't QUIT your position as a mom - you must do the normal, expected, necessary action that's required to train those kids!!! You can do it; you can make it; so, don't expect anyone else to do what you should be doing. You can't quit!
QUITTING IS NOT AN OPTION!!!
The Single Mom's Chronicles Scripture:
Proverbs 22:6 Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.
John 13:15 For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.
